LEXI introduced a mezzanine partner to a complicated transaction underpinned by an asset going through a transitionary period. The loan allowed the sponsors to reinvest into the repositioning of the asset prior to its redevelopment. The facility structure took into consideration the value of the site as a development opportunity to meet the required leverage.
